Te Hoe Nuku Roa research is guided by an expert advisory committee
that meets twice each year to consider matters ranging from ethics
and tikanga to technical issues such as Mäori demography.
The Research Team comprises academics from a range of desciplines,
though each researcher is thoroughly familiar with Mäori cultural
processes and has credibility within Mäori communities. All members
of the research team have strong links with a variety of Mäori organisations
at national, regional and local levels. The central role of the
research team is to ensure that data gathered from research participants
is translated into useful and effective information that positively
contributes to Mäori advancement and development.
